1995 Anniversary Gold Proof Eagles
In celebration of the 10th year of the introduction of the American Eagle Coin program, the United States Mint released a stunning 5-coins set that included a 1995 $5 Gold Eagle, 1995 $10 Gold Eagle, 1995 $25 Gold Eagle and a 1995 $50 Gold Eagle. Also included in the set was the impossible to find 1995 $1 Silver Eagle. As done in previous years, all of the proof Gold Eagles were minted at the West Point Mint. Each coin was shipped individually encapsulated for protection against scratches and also came with two gold foil decorative inserts.
Considered to be one of the finest coin sets ever produced, and released only in a small number with many sets already broken up, these coins are sure to be sought after by both collectors and investors for years to come.
